According to The Guardian, Manchester United are still interested in signing Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson.
The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from the City Ground this summer, with both Manchester United and Manchester City said to be keen on securing his signature.
Nottingham Forest value Anderson at around £100 million, and they have already rejected an £80m offer from Manchester City. This could be seen as a message to both City and United that Forest have no intention of selling Anderson for less than £100 million.
Anderson joined Forest from Newcastle United in 2024 and has since developed into one of the most highly rated young midfielders in the Premier League. His performances have also earned him a place in the England squad for the 2026 World Cup.
United have already agreed a deal to sign Ederson from Atalanta, but they are still looking at further midfield additions.
