According to talkSPORT, Manchester United are considering a move for Leeds United goalkeeper Karl Darlow.
The 35-year-old is out of contract at Elland Road at the end of the month, and United are looking at him as an experienced back-up option as Michael Carrick seeks to add more depth in goal.
Senne Lammens is currently United’s first-choice goalkeeper, while Andre Onana is facing an uncertain future after spending time away from Old Trafford. Altay Bayindir could also leave this summer, and Tom Heaton, who recently signed a one-year extension, is now 40.
Darlow impressed for Leeds during the 2025-26 Premier League season, making 24 appearances and keeping five clean sheets. Leeds are keen to keep him and are expected to offer him a new deal.
If the move goes through, Darlow would not be expected to arrive as a replacement for Lammens. Instead, he would give United an experienced homegrown option behind their first-choice goalkeeper and allow Carrick to reshape the rest of the department.
The Wales international joined Leeds from Newcastle United in 2023, having previously played for Nottingham Forest and Hull City.
